SMART Cities don't earn a rating on the IQ test of intelligent living
Smart this, smart that. Remember when Australians were being told that we were going to be known as the Smart Country?
The term was used in relation to academic standing and school achievement ratings on the global arena at the time. From memory, it was either Howard or Rudd (former Australian prime ministers) who started using the term.
The Smart City concept is a United Nations (UN) and World Economic Forum (WEF) creation, and we suspect that The Smart Country term used by our illustrious politicians was actually all about the descent into the underbelly of the WEF and UN's Agenda 21- Smart City plans.
It is expected that 70-90% of the world's population will live in Cities that are on only 2% of the earth's land mass. Clearly, the plan has been on the drawing board for decades.
Former Prime Minister, Malcom Turnbull, started speaking openly about it in 2016.
Only now are people starting to become more knowledgeable of the sparsely-fed details as these technocratic Cities begin to roll out in Australia.

SMART - Convenience at what cost?
And now we also have smart investment, smart policy, smart technology, smart regulation, smart meters, smart phones, smart community, smart city, smart cars, smart banking, smart agriculture, and so forth.
However, there is a price to pay for perceived progress.
The definition of Smart also means a 'severe pain'.
That is exactly how things can turn out for people once ushered into the Smart city complex with constant surveillance, monitoring, digital connection to everything and geofencing movement boundaries.
There is talk that the Smart City plans resemble The Hunger Games movies. If you have seen them, you'll understand.
What does SMART stand for?
Anyone who has ever worked in business and the corporate realm will likely experience sphincter spasms when presented with the goal acronym termed SMART GOALS.
The reason many tense up is because this tool and its progress-monitoring was used as an upper-management bullying tool. It underpinned a soul-destroying workload, and became an over-achiever's ass-kissing pathway to a promotion.

- S = Socially/Surveillanced
- M = Managed/Man
- A = Artificially
- R = Restrained (by)
- T = Tyrants
At the risk of a segue, when looking at the SMART goal acronyms, the WEF, UN and Smart City partners seem to have used this planning tool as a means to base their tyranny on:
S = Strategic, M = Militaristic, A = Armament, R = Residential, T = Technology
A Smart City example is The LINE by Neom, being developed in Saudi Arabia. Their people will be relocated into “zones”, with no choice on where they live unless very wealthy.
The Line is not set in a naturally green landscape, but is a fully AI-controlled and quarantined labyrinth in an unforgiving sandy desert. You will own nothing and be happy.
The below CNBC video clearly communicates how behaviour will be monitored and reported to authorities.
I am sure as hell glad that I am 82 years old. I want to know where does another man or woman, who was born onto this world exactly the same way I was, get the right to tell me how I am going to live my life?
